The Moss wood boiler control system can be supplied with our steam management system. This optional offering provides the Owner with up to date boiler operating conditions. Steam flow, steam pressure, throttle rate, combustion chamber temperature, stack temperature, deaerator temperature and fuel burning rate (wood, coal or biomass usage) are displayed on our main overview screen and is displayed on a PC located in an office for viewing. This provides the Owner with invaluable operating data and also allows the viewing of the boiler operation without having an operator. This system alone can save the Owner thousands of dollars in product waste, labor cost and plant downtime. It also provides accurate data that sometimes is required by your local air authority. Moss provides all required components including the PC and printer. Data from the main screen is stored for one (1) year. Other screens include oxygen trim, control/pressure, draft and alarm (event).
